Home? for a few days.

Well I arrived at home safely with only a few disappointments...I was too busy taking pictures and I missed my exit for Zion National Park...Sad. But, on the flip side I kept on traveling far enough to co camping in the snow. It was my first time ever doing this before in the snow. I was a little nervous not "knowing" anything from a text book or anything. But, I am still alive and well and made it all night long nice and warm. When I got back into Twin I went to Barns and Noble and picked up the latest edition of Backpacker...I did ALL of their "tips" for snow camping. I felt proud. By the way, I didn't get any good pictures of star trails but I did get some other good images of the sky.
So I got back to Twin and hung out with Clover and then I found out some great news. Garrett was coming to town. I haven't been able to hang out with Garrett in such a long time. He is leaving to go to Taiwan here on the 25th he will be gone for 6 months to a year. He will be over there teaching english learning how to deal with girls. (His whole team are girls...12 I think) So its his first time over seas and its going to be with a bunch of girls...sounds really familiar. Anyways, It has been great to hang out with him and spend some times with old frients. The other day I was thinking how lucky I am to have such great friends and I had a little flashback of me a few years ago. I was really disappointed about not leaving the country and go to Taiwan but then the other night we were haveing sushi and we comparied Passports and then I realized that I am doing what I want to do. To be a missionary-where ever that takes me. I showed Garrett my passport and a doctor and his wife (they were sitting next to us at the bar) said that they were really impressed because we have traveled so much. I realized then that God really does love people and he takes care of them...Garrett and I made plans to travel across the world in his Jeep with a dog in the back. I would take pictures and he would write about our experiences. Still may happen some day but look what is happening right now. I am not just traveling but I am actually engaging in the culture that I am in right now and sharing Christ with them. I love doing this. I love it.
So, tomorrow I speak at chruch on Wed. and I am really excited to do that, its for my best friend Josh...Josh has put up with a lot from me. I love him so much. I love what he is doing and where he is at. Josh has taught me so much of how to be a Godly man. By the way Josh, Thanks. I know he doesn't read my blog...(I don't think he does.) but your awesome. your part of the main reason I am here today living my dream. You listened to me the nights before snowboarding to my crazy ideas...goodtimes. I owe you alot.
So here are a few of the picures from the last few days of my life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them. (I doubt it though). Have fun.
